Third-party IAM lets your organization manage Actuals login and user lifecycle with an existing identity provider (SSO + optional provisioning).

When to use it
Recommended if you already run an IAM platform, need SSO across apps, or want less manual user admin in Actuals.
In the new app
- Users still appear under Administration › Users
- With SCIM, some profile fields can be read-only in Profile settings (managed by the IdP)
- Day-to-day password changes may not apply for SSO-only users — use your IdP
