Share Snowflake data with Actuals using Secure Data Share into Actuals’ Snowflake account.
Snowflake is a cloud data platform for storage, processing, and analytics. Actuals has its own Snowflake account that can receive shared databases and tables.
Secure Data Share
The usual pattern: in your Snowflake account, create a share that includes the Actuals account identifier plus the database and tables to share. Actuals then sees those objects and configures import into your environment.

Steps
- Request the Actuals Snowflake Data Sharing Account Identifier from your implementation consultant.
- Sign in to Snowflake with account admin permissions.
- Create the Secure Data Share per Snowflake’s documentation (include the Actuals account identifier and required objects).
- Tell your Actuals implementation consultant when the share is ready.
In the new app
Once import is configured:
- Import › Setup › Sources — warehouse feeds
- Import › Files / Raw Data Explorer — ingested rows
- Credentials / connection metadata as directed by Actuals under Import › Setup › Credentials when applicable
