Snowflake supports several data exchange methods to other Snowflake accounts. Actuals has a Snowflake account that can be used to share your Snowflake data with the Actuals platform.

Secure Data Share

The most common method for sharing data is through a Snowflake "Secure Data Share." This involves signing into your Snowflake account and creating a new share by entering the Actuals account identifier, along with the database and tables you wish to share.
Once this is done, Actuals can view the shared databases and tables and will set up the import to your Actuals environment. For a detailed understanding of the steps required within your Snowflake account, please refer to the Snowflake documentation.

Steps

  1. Request the Actuals Snowflake "Data Sharing Account Identifier" from your Actuals implementation consultant.
  1. Access your Snowflake account with account admin permissions.
  1. Follow the Snowflake documentationΒ to set up the "Secure Data Share."
  1. Inform your Actuals implementation consultant once you have successfully created the share with Actuals.
